| Abstract | The rapid evolution of emerging technologies has created significant challenges for organizations seeking to anticipate future market trends, technological disruptions, and innovation opportunities. Traditional forecasting approaches often depend on historical information and expert judgement, which may be insufficient in highly dynamic technology environments characterized by uncertainty and rapid change. Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Innovation Forecasting Models have emerged as advanced approaches capable of analysing large-scale data, identifying technological patterns, and predicting future innovation trajectories. This research examines AI-based innovation forecasting models and their role in supporting strategic decision-making within emerging technology markets. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theoretical frameworks related to artificial intelligence, technology forecasting, innovation management, predictive analytics, and market intelligence. The analysis highlights that AI-based forecasting models enhance innovation planning through machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, big data analytics, and predictive modelling techniques. These systems enable organizations to identify emerging technologies, evaluate market potential, analyse competitive trends, and make informed investment decisions. The study identifies important challenges associated with AI-driven innovation forecasting, including data quality limitations, uncertainty in technological evolution, algorithmic bias, interpretability issues, and dependence on reliable information sources. Effective implementation requires transparent AI frameworks, continuous model improvement, expert validation, and responsible innovation governance. The research concludes that AI-based innovation forecasting models represent valuable strategic tools for navigating emerging technology markets. Future innovation ecosystems will increasingly depend on intelligent forecasting capabilities that combine artificial intelligence with human expertise to identify opportunities, manage uncertainty, and support sustainable technological development. |
