| Abstract | Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) represent a significant component of global economic development by contributing to employment generation, innovation, and market diversity. However, increasing digital competition and rapidly changing customer expectations have created new challenges for SMEs seeking sustainable growth. Digital transformation has emerged as a strategic approach that enables SMEs to integrate advanced technologies, improve operational efficiency, develop innovative business models, and enhance competitiveness. This research examines Digital Transformation Frameworks for Small and Medium Enterprises and explores how technology adoption, organizational capabilities, and strategic innovation contribute to successful digital transformation. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theoretical perspectives related to digital transformation, technology adoption, business innovation, organizational change, and enterprise development. The analysis highlights that digital transformation enables SMEs to improve customer engagement, optimize operations, strengthen decision-making, and create new value propositions. Technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, data analytics, and automation provide opportunities for SMEs to overcome traditional limitations and compete in increasingly digital markets. The study identifies key challenges affecting SME digital transformation, including limited financial resources, lack of digital skills, cybersecurity concerns, organizational resistance, and difficulties in technology integration. Successful transformation requires strategic planning, leadership commitment, employee capability development, and appropriate technology selection. The research concludes that digital transformation frameworks provide SMEs with structured pathways for achieving sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Future SME development will increasingly depend on the ability to combine technological adoption with organizational flexibility, innovation capability, and customer-focused digital strategies. |
