| Abstract | The rapid expansion of digital technologies has significantly transformed organizational operations, communication systems, and information management practices. However, increasing digital dependence has also created complex cybersecurity challenges involving sophisticated attacks, emerging vulnerabilities, and continuously changing threat environments. Traditional cybersecurity approaches based on fixed security controls are becoming insufficient because modern cyber threats evolve rapidly and exploit new technological weaknesses. Adaptive cybersecurity models have emerged as advanced frameworks designed to continuously monitor, analyse, and respond to changing digital threat landscapes. This research examines adaptive cybersecurity models and their role in strengthening digital security resilience. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theoretical frameworks and scholarly perspectives related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital risk management, threat intelligence, and cyber resilience. The analysis highlights that adaptive cybersecurity models improve security effectiveness through continuous monitoring, intelligent threat detection, automated response mechanisms, behavioural analysis, and dynamic risk management. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics enable security systems to identify abnormal patterns, predict potential attacks, and adjust protection strategies according to evolving threats. The study identifies significant challenges associated with adaptive cybersecurity implementation, including algorithmic limitations, data privacy concerns, technological complexity, shortage of skilled professionals, and ethical issues related to automated security decisions. Effective cybersecurity adaptation requires integrated governance, human expertise, transparent AI mechanisms, and continuous improvement strategies. The research concludes that adaptive cybersecurity models provide an essential foundation for protecting modern digital ecosystems. Future cybersecurity strategies will increasingly depend on intelligent, flexible, and proactive security frameworks capable of responding effectively to constantly evolving cyber threats. |
