Artificial Intelligence Supported Creativity Enhancement Frameworks

Author(s) Steve DiPaola

Abstract Creativity has traditionally been considered a uniquely human capability associated with imagination, problem-solving, innovation, and the generation of original ideas. However, recent developments in artificial intelligence have introduced new possibilities for enhancing human creativity through intelligent systems that support idea generation, knowledge exploration, pattern recognition, and creative decision-making. Artificial Intelligence Supported Creativity Enhancement Frameworks represent emerging approaches that combine human cognitive abilities with computational intelligence to develop collaborative creativity environments.
This research examines AI-supported creativity enhancement frameworks and explores how artificial intelligence technologies contribute to improving creative processes across different domains. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theoretical perspectives related to artificial intelligence, creativity research, human–computer interaction, innovation management, and cognitive augmentation.
The analysis highlights that artificial intelligence can enhance creativity by expanding access to information, generating alternative ideas, supporting experimentation, and improving creative problem-solving processes. AI technologies such as generative models, machine learning systems, natural language processing tools, and intelligent recommendation platforms provide new opportunities for researchers, designers, educators, entrepreneurs, and organizations to develop innovative solutions.
The study identifies important challenges associated with AI-supported creativity, including concerns related to originality, intellectual ownership, algorithmic bias, overdependence on automated systems, and ethical use of generated content. Effective creativity enhancement requires maintaining human control, critical thinking, and responsible integration of artificial intelligence.
The research concludes that AI-supported creativity frameworks should be viewed as collaborative systems where artificial intelligence expands human creative capabilities rather than replacing human imagination.
