| Abstract | The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence has transformed digital interaction systems by enabling more personalized, adaptive, and human-oriented communication experiences. Traditional digital systems primarily focused on functional efficiency, while modern intelligent systems increasingly require emotional understanding, contextual awareness, and user-centred interaction capabilities. AI-based emotional intelligence models represent an emerging approach that integrates artificial intelligence, affective computing, natural language processing, and behavioural analysis to create more empathetic digital environments. This conceptual research examines AI-Based Emotional Intelligence Models for Human-Centric Digital Interaction by analysing how intelligent systems recognize, interpret, and respond to human emotions within digital communication environments. The study explores the role of machine learning, sentiment analysis, emotion recognition technologies, conversational AI, and adaptive interaction models in improving user experiences. The analysis highlights that emotionally intelligent AI systems can support more meaningful human–machine communication by understanding user preferences, emotional states, and contextual requirements. These systems have applications in virtual assistants, healthcare technologies, education platforms, customer service systems, and personalized digital services. The study identifies major challenges associated with AI-based emotional intelligence models, including privacy concerns, emotional data sensitivity, algorithmic bias, cultural differences in emotional expression, transparency issues, and ethical limitations. Responsible development requires human-centred design principles, strong data protection mechanisms, explainable AI approaches, and ethical governance frameworks. The research concludes that AI-based emotional intelligence models represent an important advancement toward creating more natural and effective digital interactions. Future digital ecosystems will increasingly depend on emotionally aware artificial intelligence systems that combine computational intelligence with empathy, trust, and responsible technological innovation. |
