| Abstract | The increasing complexity of global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, healthcare inequalities, environmental degradation, and social transformation has created a strong need for intelligent systems capable of supporting sustainable development. Intelligent systems based on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, automation, and advanced digital technologies provide new opportunities for improving decision-making, optimizing resource utilization, and developing sustainable solutions across different sectors. This research examines the role of intelligent systems in supporting sustainable global development and analyses how advanced technological frameworks contribute to environmental protection, economic growth, social inclusion, and efficient governance. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theories and scholarly perspectives related to artificial intelligence, sustainability management, digital transformation, and intelligent decision-support systems. The analysis highlights that intelligent systems enhance sustainability efforts by enabling real time monitoring, predictive analysis, automated optimization, and evidence-based decision-making. Applications in smart cities, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy management, healthcare systems, and environmental monitoring demonstrate the potential of intelligent technologies to address complex global challenges. However, the integration of intelligent systems also involves challenges related to ethical concerns, data privacy, technological inequality, infrastructure limitations, and responsible AI governance. Sustainable technology development requires balancing innovation with social responsibility, transparency, and inclusive access. The study concludes that intelligent systems represent important drivers of sustainable global development by connecting technological capabilities with human decision-making and long-term environmental goals. Future sustainability strategies should focus on responsible adoption of intelligent technologies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of inclusive digital ecosystems. |
