| Abstract | The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed contemporary innovation systems by introducing new possibilities for knowledge generation, problem-solving, and creative development. While artificial intelligence provides advanced analytical capabilities, automation, and predictive intelligence, human creativity remains essential for imagination, emotional understanding, ethical reasoning, and meaningful innovation. The convergence of artificial intelligence and human creativity represents a collaborative innovation paradigm where technological intelligence and human cognitive capabilities complement each other to produce enhanced innovation outcomes. This research examines the relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity within modern innovation systems and explores how human–AI collaboration influences idea generation, product development, research activities, and organizational innovation capabilities. The study adopts a conceptual research approach based on existing theories and scholarly perspectives related to artificial intelligence, creativity management, innovation ecosystems, and digital transformation. The analysis highlights that AI technologies can enhance creative processes by supporting information analysis, pattern recognition, experimentation, and decision-making. However, human creativity remains central to defining objectives, interpreting knowledge, developing original concepts, and ensuring ethical application of technological solutions. The integration of AI with human creativity creates opportunities for organizations to develop adaptive innovation models capable of addressing complex challenges. The study also identifies challenges associated with AI-driven innovation systems, including ethical concerns, skill gaps, dependency risks, data limitations, and organizational adaptation barriers. The findings suggest that future innovation systems should focus on developing balanced human–AI collaboration frameworks rather than viewing artificial intelligence as a replacement for human creativity. |
