| Abstract | Disruptive technologies have fundamentally transformed the nature of innovation management by challenging traditional business models, operational structures, and competitive strategies. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, Internet of Things, automation, and advanced analytics have created new possibilities for organizations to redesign processes, develop innovative products, and create sustainable competitive advantages. Unlike incremental technological improvements, disruptive technologies introduce significant changes that can reshape industries and redefine customer expectations. This research examines the impact of disruptive technologies on innovation management by analysing how organizations adopt, integrate, and strategically utilize emerging technological capabilities. The study follows a conceptual research approach based on existing theoretical frameworks and scholarly contributions related to technological disruption, innovation ecosystems, and organizational transformation. The analysis explores the relationship between technological advancement and innovation capabilities, emphasizing the importance of strategic adaptation, organizational flexibility, and knowledge development. The findings indicate that disruptive technologies provide significant opportunities for improving innovation performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing new value creation models. However, organizations face several challenges, including technology adoption barriers, skill shortages, cybersecurity risks, and resistance to organizational change. The study highlights that successful innovation management requires a balanced approach combining technological investment with effective leadership, employee capabilities, and strategic planning. The research concludes that disruptive technologies are not merely technological tools but strategic forces influencing the future direction of innovation management. Organizations that effectively integrate disruptive technologies into their innovation strategies can achieve greater adaptability, resilience, and long-term competitiveness in dynamic business environments. |
