| Abstract | Digital twin technology has emerged as a transformative approach for improving industrial optimization by creating dynamic virtual representations of physical systems, processes, and assets. The integration of digital twins with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, and data analytics enables organizations to achieve real-time monitoring, predictive analysis, process optimization, and intelligent decision-making. This conceptual research article examines the role of digital twin technologies in supporting advanced industrial optimization and explores their contribution toward improving operational efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and innovation capability. The study adopts a conceptual research methodology based on the analysis of existing scholarly literature, digital twin frameworks, industrial automation models, and smart manufacturing approaches. The findings indicate that digital twin technologies provide significant opportunities for predictive maintenance, resource optimization, production improvement, and adaptive industrial management. However, challenges related to data integration, cybersecurity, implementation costs, technological complexity, and workforce capabilities continue to influence adoption. The study concludes that digital twins represent an important foundation for future industrial transformation by enabling intelligent, connected, and optimized operational environments. |
