| Abstract | The increasing integration of digital technologies into personal, educational, and professional environments has created new opportunities for communication, productivity, and knowledge development. However, excessive and unbalanced technology usage has also introduced challenges related to digital dependency, reduced attention capacity, stress, social isolation, and declining psychological wellbeing. Digital wellbeing has therefore emerged as an important research area focused on developing strategies that enable individuals to maintain healthy and balanced relationships with technology. This conceptual research article examines digital wellbeing strategies for achieving balanced technology usage by analysing behavioural approaches, technological solutions, awareness practices, and responsible digital engagement frameworks. The study adopts a conceptual methodology based on the analysis of existing research literature, digital behaviour theories, and emerging wellbeing practices. The findings indicate that effective digital wellbeing requires a combination of individual self-regulation, mindful technology use, organizational support, and responsible digital design. The study highlights that digital wellbeing is not associated with complete avoidance of technology but with developing conscious, purposeful, and healthy patterns of digital interaction. Challenges related to digital addiction, privacy concerns, unequal access, and lack of awareness remain important considerations for future digital wellbeing initiatives. The research contributes to understanding how balanced technology usage strategies can support healthier digital lifestyles and sustainable human-technology relationships. |
