| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technologies, increasing healthcare complexity, and growing demand for efficient medical services have accelerated the transformation of healthcare innovation management. Traditional healthcare management systems often depend on conventional operational processes, limited technological integration, and reactive decision-making approaches. Although these systems have supported healthcare delivery for decades, they may face challenges related to service efficiency, innovation adoption, resource optimization, and patient-centred care. Digital transformation has emerged as a strategic approach for improving healthcare innovation management through advanced technologies, intelligent systems, and data-driven operational frameworks. This study examines healthcare innovation management in the era of digital transformation by analysing the influence of digital technologies on healthcare innovation strategies, operational efficiency, technology adoption, and sustainable healthcare development. The research explores major digital transformation components including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, electronic health systems, healthcare analytics, digital platforms, automation technologies, and innovation management frameworks. A simulation-based analytical methodology is developed to compare traditional healthcare management approaches with digitally transformed healthcare innovation systems using evaluation indicators including innovation capability, operational efficiency, digital maturity, and healthcare service improvement. The findings demonstrate that digital transformation significantly enhances healthcare innovation management by enabling intelligent decision-making, improved workflow automation, advanced data utilization, and patient-focused healthcare services. The results indicate that digitally enabled healthcare systems provide valuable opportunities for improving organizational performance and healthcare sustainability. However, successful implementation requires addressing challenges related to digital infrastructure, organizational change, cybersecurity, ethical governance, workforce readiness, and sustainable technology adoption. The study contributes to healthcare management research by presenting digital transformation as a strategic foundation for future healthcare innovation. The integration of technology, innovation leadership, and healthcare expertise can support more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable healthcare management systems. |
