| Abstract | The increasing complexity of healthcare management, rapid growth of medical data, and demand for accurate clinical decision-making have accelerated the adoption of data-driven approaches in healthcare systems. Traditional healthcare decision processes often depend on manual evaluation, limited clinical information, and retrospective analysis, which may restrict the ability to identify emerging health patterns and support timely interventions. Data-driven healthcare approaches have emerged as transformative solutions by integrating healthcare analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, electronic health records, and advanced computational techniques. This study examines data-driven approaches for improving healthcare decision systems by analysing their contribution to clinical decision support, predictive healthcare management, medical data interpretation, and healthcare service optimization. The research explores key data-driven technologies including big data analytics, machine learning-based prediction models, electronic health record analysis, healthcare intelligence platforms, and automated clinical decision-support systems. A simulation-based analytical methodology is developed to compare conventional healthcare decision processes with data-driven healthcare frameworks using evaluation indicators including decision accuracy, analytical efficiency, predictive capability, and healthcare management effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that data-driven approaches significantly improve healthcare decision systems by enabling intelligent analysis, identifying complex medical patterns, supporting evidence-based decisions, and enhancing healthcare planning. The results indicate that healthcare data intelligence provides valuable opportunities for improving clinical accuracy, patient management, and healthcare resource utilization. However, successful implementation requires addressing challenges related to data quality, interoperability, privacy protection, ethical governance, and clinical adoption. The study contributes to healthcare informatics research by presenting data-driven approaches as strategic mechanisms for developing intelligent healthcare decision systems. The integration of healthcare data analytics, computational intelligence, and clinical expertise can support more accurate, efficient, and sustainable medical decision-making frameworks. |
