| Abstract | The increasing demand for efficient production systems, environmental responsibility, and industrial competitiveness has created a strong need for sustainable manufacturing approaches supported by advanced digital innovation technologies. Traditional manufacturing systems often depend on resource-intensive processes, high energy consumption, and linear production models that generate significant environmental impacts. Sustainable manufacturing integrated with digital technologies has emerged as an important approach for improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting environmentally responsible industrial development. This study examines sustainable manufacturing approaches through digital innovation technologies by analysing their contribution to resource efficiency, production sustainability, operational intelligence, and environmental performance improvement. The research explores key digital technologies including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things-enabled manufacturing systems, cloud-based industrial platforms, digital twins, automation technologies, and advanced data analytics. A simulation-based analytical framework is developed to compare conventional manufacturing systems with digitally enabled sustainable manufacturing approaches using evaluation indicators including energy efficiency, waste reduction capability, production optimization, and sustainability performance. The findings demonstrate that digital innovation technologies significantly improve sustainable manufacturing outcomes by enabling intelligent resource management, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. The results indicate that smart manufacturing systems provide effective pathways for reducing environmental impacts while maintaining industrial productivity and competitiveness. However, successful implementation requires addressing challenges related to digital infrastructure, investment requirements, workforce skills, cybersecurity, and organizational transformation. |
