| Abstract | The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has created new opportunities for developing intelligent systems capable of supporting complex decision-making processes. However, purely machine-driven intelligence approaches often face limitations related to contextual understanding, ethical reasoning, creativity, and human-centered interpretation. Hybrid Intelligence Systems have emerged as an innovative approach that combines human expertise with machine reasoning capabilities to create collaborative intelligence environments. These systems integrate human cognitive abilities with artificial intelligence algorithms to improve problem-solving, decision accuracy, adaptability, and innovation capacity. This study examines hybrid intelligence systems by analysing the integration of human expertise and machine reasoning in developing future intelligent decision-making frameworks. The research explores how artificial intelligence, machine learning, knowledge-based systems, and human cognitive capabilities can work together to enhance analytical performance and organizational intelligence. A simulation-based analytical framework is developed to compare human-only, machine-only, and hybrid intelligence approaches using evaluation indicators including decision accuracy, adaptability, reasoning capability, and collaborative effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that hybrid intelligence systems provide significant advantages by combining computational efficiency with human contextual understanding. The results indicate that collaborative intelligence frameworks improve decision quality, reduce limitations of autonomous systems, and enable more balanced approaches to complex problem-solving. However, successful implementation requires addressing challenges related to trust, explainability, human adaptation, ethical governance, and effective human-machine interaction. The study contributes to emerging research on human-centered artificial intelligence by presenting hybrid intelligence as a strategic framework for future intelligent systems. The integration of human expertise with machine reasoning provides opportunities for developing adaptive, transparent, and responsible intelligence models capable of addressing complex challenges across scientific, industrial, and social domains. |
