| Abstract | The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has accelerated digital transformation across organizations, industries, and public institutions by enabling intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making. However, the increasing adoption of AI technologies has also introduced significant concerns regarding transparency, fairness, accountability, privacy, and user confidence. The effectiveness of digital transformation depends not only on technological capability but also on the level of trust established between humans, organizations, and intelligent systems. Trust-aware artificial intelligence represents an emerging approach that integrates technical performance with ethical principles and human-centered considerations to develop reliable and responsible AI environments. This study examines trust-aware artificial intelligence systems designed to support ethical digital transformation by analysing how trust mechanisms influence AI adoption, decision reliability, and organizational acceptance. The research explores key components of trust-aware AI, including explainability, fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsible governance. A simulation-based analytical framework is developed to compare conventional AI systems with trust-aware AI approaches using evaluation indicators including ethical compliance, user trust, transparency level, and digital transformation effectiveness. The findings indicate that trust-aware AI systems provide improved outcomes by strengthening confidence, reducing uncertainty, and supporting responsible technology adoption. The results demonstrate that organizations implementing trust-centered AI frameworks achieve better alignment between technological innovation and ethical requirements. The study highlights that successful digital transformation requires AI systems that are not only intelligent and efficient but also transparent, accountable, and socially responsible. |
