Abstract The increasing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into organizational environments has transformed traditional approaches to innovation, knowledge management, and strategic decision-making. Organizations are increasingly adopting AI technologies to improve productivity, analyse complex information, automate routine processes, and identify new opportunities for growth. However, sustainable innovation requires more than technological adoption; it depends on effective collaboration between human expertise and artificial intelligence capabilities. Human-AI collaboration frameworks have emerged as an important approach for combining machine intelligence with human creativity, contextual understanding, and strategic reasoning.
This study examines human-AI collaboration frameworks designed to improve organizational innovation capacity by analysing how intelligent systems and human knowledge interact to support creative problem-solving and innovation development. The research explores the role of AI-assisted decision support, knowledge sharing, adaptive learning, and collaborative intelligence in strengthening organizational innovation processes. A simulation-based analytical framework is developed to compare traditional innovation approaches with human-AI collaborative models using evaluation indicators including innovation efficiency, knowledge generation capability, decision quality, and collaborative performance.
The findings indicate that human-AI collaboration frameworks provide significant improvements in organizational innovation capacity by enabling faster knowledge discovery, enhanced creativity, and more effective decision-making. The results highlight that AI should function as an augmentation technology that extends human capabilities rather than replacing human expertise. The study further emphasizes the importance of responsible AI implementation, organizational readiness, ethical governance, and human-centered design principles for achieving sustainable innovation outcomes.
