Generative Artificial Intelligence and Its Influence on Creative Knowledge Production

| Abstract | The emergence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) has introduced a significant transformation in the processes of creative knowledge production by enabling machines to generate text, images, designs, code, multimedia content, and analytical insights. Unlike traditional artificial intelligence systems that primarily focus on classification, prediction, and automated decision support, generative models are designed to create new content by learning complex patterns from large-scale datasets. The rapid adoption of generative AI technologies has influenced creative industries, academic research, software development, education, and organizational innovation by expanding the possibilities of human-machine collaboration. This study examines the influence of generative artificial intelligence on creative knowledge production by analysing how generative models contribute to idea development, content creation, innovation processes, and knowledge expansion. The research explores the relationship between generative AI capabilities and human creativity, focusing on collaborative frameworks where artificial intelligence functions as an assistive technology rather than a complete replacement for human creative expertise. A simulation-based analytical approach is applied to compare traditional creative production methods with AI-assisted creative workflows using evaluation indicators including creativity enhancement, production efficiency, knowledge diversity, and innovation capability. The findings indicate that generative AI significantly improves creative knowledge production by accelerating idea generation, supporting experimentation, and enabling access to broader information patterns. However, the study also highlights the importance of ethical governance, intellectual property considerations, human oversight, and responsible use of AI-generated content. The research contributes to emerging discussions on human-AI creativity by presenting generative artificial intelligence as a transformative tool that enhances creative capabilities while maintaining human direction and critical evaluation. |
