| Abstract | The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has created significant transformations in employment structures, workplace practices, and labour market dynamics. AI-driven automation, intelligent decision systems, robotics, and machine learning applications are reshaping traditional occupations while creating new opportunities for technology-oriented employment. These transformations have generated both economic opportunities and policy challenges, particularly concerning job displacement, workforce adaptation, skill development, and social protection mechanisms. This study examines the relationship between Artificial Intelligence adoption, employment policy, and the future of work by analysing how technological transformation influences workforce capabilities, employment patterns, and labour market resilience. The research adopts an analytical framework based on AI adoption maturity, workforce adaptability, skill development capacity, employment policy effectiveness, and inclusive labour outcomes. A structured evaluation approach is applied to assess how policy interventions support workers during technology-driven transitions. The findings indicate that organisations and economies with effective reskilling strategies and adaptive employment policies demonstrate stronger workforce resilience and better employment outcomes. However, challenges related to skill gaps, automation-related displacement risks, digital inequality, and policy adaptation remain significant concerns. The study highlights that AI should be approached as a transformative force requiring balanced governance rather than only a technological advancement. Employment policies must focus on lifelong learning, skill development, social protection, and inclusive access to AI-driven opportunities. The research contributes to labour policy and technology governance studies by demonstrating the importance of adaptive employment frameworks in managing the future of work within an AI-driven economy. |
