| Abstract | The increasing complexity of social, economic, environmental, and administrative challenges has created the need for more effective approaches to public policymaking. Traditional policy development processes often depend on limited datasets, historical information, and expert-based assessments, which may not fully capture dynamic social conditions. Evidence-based policymaking has emerged as an important governance approach that emphasises the use of reliable data, empirical analysis, and measurable outcomes for improving policy decisions. In this context, Big Data Analytics provides advanced capabilities for collecting, processing, and interpreting large-scale datasets to support more accurate, timely, and responsive policy development. This study examines the role of Big Data Analytics in strengthening evidence-based policymaking by analysing how data-driven technologies influence policy formulation, implementation, evaluation, and governance effectiveness. The research adopts an analytical framework based on data processing capability, predictive analytics, decision-making efficiency, policy responsiveness, and outcome measurement. A structured evaluation approach is applied to assess how big data-supported governance systems contribute to improved public-sector decision-making. The findings indicate that Big Data Analytics enhances policy accuracy, enables predictive insights, improves resource allocation, and supports evidence-based interventions. However, challenges related to data quality, privacy protection, technical infrastructure, and institutional capacity continue to influence effective implementation. The study highlights that successful data-driven policymaking requires integration between advanced analytical technologies, ethical data governance, institutional capabilities, and transparent decision-making processes. Big Data Analytics should be considered as a strategic governance tool that complements human expertise rather than replacing policy judgment. The research contributes to public administration and digital governance studies by demonstrating the importance of analytical approaches in developing adaptive, efficient, and evidence-oriented policy systems. |
