| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed social, economic, educational, and professional environments by introducing new forms of communication, information access, and service delivery. However, the adoption and acceptance of these technologies are not uniform across different generations. Individuals belonging to different age groups often demonstrate variations in technology usage patterns, confidence levels, learning approaches, and perceptions regarding digital innovation. These differences are influenced by multiple factors, including previous exposure to technology, digital literacy, perceived usefulness, ease of use, social influence, and psychological readiness toward technological change. This study examines intergenerational differences in technology acceptance by analysing how individuals from different generational groups perceive and adopt emerging digital technologies. The research applies an analytical framework based on technology acceptance indicators, digital confidence levels, perceived usefulness, and behavioural intention toward technology adoption. A structured comparative approach is used to evaluate differences among generations regarding their interaction with digital systems, online services, and technology-enabled environments. The findings indicate that younger generations generally demonstrate higher levels of technological confidence and faster adoption behaviour, whereas older generations may require additional support, training opportunities, and user-friendly technological designs. However, the study also reveals that generational differences are not determined solely by age; factors such as education, professional experience, accessibility, and previous technology exposure significantly influence acceptance behaviour. The research contributes to the understanding of digital inclusion by highlighting the importance of designing technology environments that accommodate diverse user groups. The findings emphasise that successful digital transformation requires inclusive strategies that reduce technological barriers and support individuals across generations in developing meaningful engagement with digital systems. |
