| Abstract | Soil health is a fundamental component of sustainable agricultural productivity because it directly influences crop growth, nutrient availability, water retention, ecosystem balance, and long-term agricultural resilience. Intensive farming practices, excessive chemical inputs, soil erosion, and declining organic matter have contributed to significant challenges affecting soil quality and agricultural sustainability. Effective soil health management has emerged as an essential approach for improving productivity while maintaining environmental stability. This study examines soil health management for sustainable agricultural productivity through a conceptual analysis of soil conservation practices, organic matter enhancement, nutrient management strategies, biological soil improvement, precision agriculture applications, and sustainable farming approaches. The research explores how improved soil management practices contribute to enhanced crop performance, resource efficiency, and long-term agricultural sustainability. The study adopts an analytical framework based on soil science principles, sustainable agriculture models, ecosystem management approaches, and climate-resilient farming strategies. The findings indicate that practices such as crop rotation, conservation agriculture, organic amendments, integrated nutrient management, and biological soil enhancement improve soil quality and agricultural productivity. However, challenges related to knowledge gaps, implementation costs, monitoring difficulties, and limited access to sustainable technologies affect widespread adoption. The study concludes that soil health management provides a critical foundation for sustainable agricultural development. Strengthening farmer awareness, promoting soil testing systems, encouraging regenerative farming practices, and integrating digital soil monitoring technologies are essential for maintaining productive and resilient agricultural ecosystems. |
