| Abstract | The rapid growth of e-commerce, global supply networks, and digital manufacturing has increased the demand for efficient and intelligent warehouse management systems. Traditional warehouse operations often depend on manual labour and fixed automation systems, which may face limitations related to flexibility, scalability, and real-time adaptability. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) have emerged as an advanced solution by enabling intelligent material movement, automated inventory handling, and dynamic warehouse optimization. This study examines the role of Autonomous Mobile Robots in improving intelligent warehouse management performance. The research explores how autonomous navigation, real-time inventory tracking, robotic collaboration, automated material handling, and artificial intelligence-based decision-making contribute to warehouse efficiency. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the influence of AMR capabilities on warehouse operational performance. The findings indicate that autonomous navigation efficiency, inventory management accuracy, intelligent path optimization, automated material handling capability, and human–robot collaboration significantly contribute to improved warehouse performance. However, challenges including implementation costs, infrastructure requirements, cybersecurity risks, workforce adaptation, and system integration complexity continue to influence widespread adoption. The study contributes to robotics and intelligent logistics research by highlighting the importance of autonomous robotic systems in developing flexible, scalable, and efficient warehouse environments. The findings provide practical implications for logistics managers, automation engineers, supply chain professionals, and organizations seeking advanced warehouse management solutions. |
