| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed healthcare delivery by enabling the development of smart hospitals that integrate artificial intelligence, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), electronic health records, automation systems, and data-driven clinical decision support. Smart hospitals represent a new generation of healthcare environments where interconnected technologies improve operational efficiency, patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and personalized clinical services. This study examines the role of smart hospitals in the digital transformation of clinical services. The research explores how intelligent healthcare infrastructure, automated workflows, real-time patient monitoring, digital clinical systems, and data analytics contribute to improving healthcare delivery. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the influence of smart hospital technologies on clinical service transformation. The findings indicate that smart hospital technologies improve healthcare efficiency through enhanced clinical decision-making, optimized resource utilization, improved patient monitoring, and better coordination among healthcare professionals. However, challenges including cybersecurity risks, technology integration barriers, high implementation costs, workforce adaptation issues, and data governance concerns continue to influence successful adoption. The study contributes to digital health and healthcare management research by highlighting the importance of technology-driven healthcare transformation. The findings provide practical implications for hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, technology developers, and policymakers seeking sustainable approaches for implementing smart hospital models. |
