| Abstract | Chronic diseases represent one of the major challenges facing modern healthcare systems due to their long-term impact on population health, healthcare costs, and quality of life. Early identification of disease risk has become increasingly important for improving prevention strategies and enabling timely medical interventions. Predictive analytics has emerged as a powerful healthcare approach that uses advanced statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and large-scale health data analysis to identify individuals at increased risk of developing chronic conditions. This study examines the role of predictive analytics in the early identification of chronic disease risk. The research explores how predictive modeling, health data integration, risk assessment algorithms, personalized prevention strategies, and clinical decision support contribute to proactive healthcare management. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the contribution of predictive analytics toward improving early disease detection. The findings indicate that predictive analytics can enhance chronic disease prevention by improving risk prediction accuracy, supporting early intervention, enabling personalized healthcare planning, and assisting clinical decision-making. However, challenges including data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, healthcare data quality limitations, model interpretability issues, and clinical adoption barriers continue to influence implementation. The study contributes to healthcare informatics and preventive medicine research by highlighting the potential of predictive analytics as a strategic tool for transforming healthcare from reactive treatment toward proactive risk management. The findings provide practical implications for healthcare organizations, clinicians, policymakers, and technology developers seeking effective approaches for chronic disease prevention. |
