| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital healthcare technologies has transformed the approach toward disease prevention, health monitoring, and personalized healthcare management. Wearable technologies have emerged as innovative healthcare solutions that enable continuous monitoring of physiological parameters, real-time health assessment, and early identification of potential health risks. Devices such as smart watches, fitness trackers, biosensors, and wearable medical monitoring systems provide valuable health information by collecting continuous biological and behavioural data. This study examines the role of wearable technologies in supporting continuous health monitoring and preventive care. The research explores how real-time physiological tracking, early risk detection, personalized health feedback, remote monitoring capabilities, and patient engagement influence preventive healthcare outcomes. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the contribution of wearable technologies toward improving proactive healthcare management. The findings indicate that wearable technologies positively influence preventive care by improving health awareness, supporting early intervention, enabling continuous monitoring, and encouraging patient participation in healthcare management. However, challenges including data privacy concerns, device accuracy limitations, affordability issues, technology adoption barriers, and healthcare integration difficulties continue to affect widespread implementation. The study contributes to digital health and preventive medicine research by highlighting the importance of wearable technologies in shifting healthcare approaches from reactive treatment toward proactive health management. The findings provide practical implications for healthcare providers, technology developers, policymakers, and individuals seeking effective strategies for continuous health monitoring. |
