| Abstract | The rapid integration of digital technologies into educational environments has transformed the way students learn, communicate, and engage with academic activities. Technology-rich learning environments provide significant opportunities for personalized education, digital collaboration, and expanded access to information. However, excessive technology use, digital pressure, online distractions, and increased academic demands may influence students’ mental health and academic performance. This study examines the relationship between student mental health and academic performance in technology-rich educational environments. The research explores how digital engagement, technology-related stress, online learning experiences, psychological well-being, and academic support systems influence students’ educational outcomes. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the relationship between mental health factors and academic achievement. The findings indicate that positive psychological well-being, balanced technology use, effective digital learning practices, and institutional support contribute significantly to improved academic performance. However, challenges including digital fatigue, excessive screen exposure, online stress, reduced social interaction, and lack of mental health support continue to affect students in technology-driven learning environments. The study contributes to educational psychology and digital education research by highlighting the importance of integrating mental health support within technology-enhanced learning systems. The findings provide practical implications for educational institutions, teachers, counselors, and policymakers seeking strategies to promote both academic success and student well-being. |
