| Abstract | Educational institutions operate in increasingly complex environments that require continuous adaptation, strategic decision-making, and innovative approaches to teaching, management, and organizational development. Educational leadership has emerged as a critical factor in guiding institutional transformation by establishing effective visions, encouraging collaboration, managing change, and promoting innovative practices. Strong leadership enables institutions to respond effectively to technological advancement, changing learner expectations, and evolving educational priorities. This study examines the relationship between educational leadership and institutional innovation. The research explores how leadership vision, strategic planning, collaborative culture, digital transformation initiatives, and change management practices influence innovation within educational organizations. A conceptual analytical framework supported by simulated observations is developed to evaluate the contribution of leadership approaches toward strengthening institutional innovation capacity. The findings indicate that effective educational leadership positively influences institutional innovation by encouraging creativity, improving organizational flexibility, supporting technology adoption, and developing a culture of continuous improvement. However, challenges including resistance to change, limited resources, leadership capacity gaps, and organizational barriers continue to affect successful innovation implementation. The study contributes to educational management and leadership research by explaining how leadership practices can support sustainable institutional transformation. The findings provide practical implications for educational leaders, administrators, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders seeking strategies for building innovative and adaptive educational organizations. |
