| Abstract | The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into e-commerce platforms has significantly transformed online shopping experiences by enabling personalized recommendations, automated customer assistance, intelligent search systems, and predictive consumer services. While AI-driven e-commerce solutions provide enhanced efficiency and convenience, consumer trust remains a critical factor determining acceptance, continued usage, and purchasing behaviour. This study examines the relationship between artificial intelligence-enabled e-commerce features and consumer trust by focusing on major trust-related dimensions, including perceived transparency, data security, reliability, and personalization quality. The research adopts a simulation-based analytical framework to explore how consumers evaluate AI-supported digital shopping environments. A conceptual model was developed in which AI service characteristics represent influencing factors and consumer trust represents the primary outcome variable. Simulated analytical values are used to demonstrate the application of quantitative assessment techniques and to interpret potential relationships between AI capabilities and consumer perceptions. The findings indicate that data security perception and transparency significantly contribute to consumer trust formation, while personalization quality strengthens user satisfaction and confidence in AI-based recommendations. The study highlights that consumers are more likely to trust AI-enabled platforms when automated decisions are understandable, privacy concerns are effectively managed, and service performance remains consistent. The research contributes to the growing literature on digital consumer behaviour by explaining the importance of trust-building mechanisms in artificial intelligence-based commerce environments. The findings provide practical implications for e-commerce organizations, technology developers, and digital marketers seeking to improve consumer acceptance of AI-powered platforms through responsible and transparent technological practices. |
