| Abstract | In contemporary business environments, organizations increasingly recognize that sustainable performance depends not only on financial outcomes but also on social responsibility, environmental awareness, innovation capability, and long-term value creation. Organizational culture has emerged as a critical strategic factor influencing how employees behave, how decisions are made, and how effectively organizations respond to sustainability challenges. A strong sustainability-oriented culture can encourage responsible practices, improve stakeholder relationships, and enhance organizational resilience. This study examines the role of organizational culture as a driver of sustainable business performance through a conceptual analysis of organizational behaviour, strategic management, and sustainability research. The study explores how cultural values, leadership practices, employee engagement, knowledge sharing, and innovation orientation contribute to sustainable organizational outcomes. The findings indicate that organizational culture significantly influences sustainable performance by shaping employee attitudes, encouraging responsible decision-making, and supporting continuous improvement. Organizations with adaptive and sustainability-focused cultures are better positioned to integrate environmental, social, and economic objectives into their strategic operations. However, challenges such as cultural resistance, leadership limitations, resource constraints, and difficulties in measuring sustainability outcomes may affect successful implementation. The study concludes that organizational culture represents a fundamental strategic capability for achieving sustainable business performance. Organizations that develop cultures based on responsibility, innovation, collaboration, and long-term thinking can improve competitiveness while creating positive value for stakeholders and society. |
